Centrifugal Spray Dryer for Alumina Overview

White solid insoluble in water. Odourless, tasteless, extremely hard, easily absorbs moisture but not deliquescent (burnt not hygroscopic). Amphoteric oxide, soluble in inorganic acids and alkaline solutions, almost insoluble in water and non-polar organic solvents. Relative density (d204) 4.0. melting point about 2000 ℃. Alumina is made by chemically treating bauxite raw materials to remove oxides of silicon, iron, titanium, etc. It is a raw material of alumina with high purity, and the content of Al2O3 is generally above 99%.

Use

Used as analytical reagent, dehydration of organic solvents, adsorbent, organic reaction catalyst, abrasive, polishing agent.

Theory

The air is filtered and heated, and enters into the air distributor at the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters into the drying chamber in a spiral shape uniformly. The material liquid is sprayed into very fine mist beads by the high-speed centrifugal atomiser at the top of the tower (rotating), which can be dried into finished products in a very short time in parallel contact with the hot air. The finished products are continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is exhausted by the fan.
