Horizontal Fluidised Bed Dryer Specifications

       Fluidised bed drying, also known as fluidised bed technology, comprises an air filter, heater, fluidised bed main unit, cyclone separator, bag filter, high-pressure centrifugal fan, and control console. Depending on the properties of the material being dried, dust collection equipment can be selected as required. Both cyclone separators and bag filters may be employed simultaneously, or either may be chosen individually. Generally, materials with higher specific gravity, such as granules and pellets, require only a cyclone separator. Lighter-weight fine particles and powdered materials necessitate a bag filter. Pneumatic feeding systems and belt conveyors are available as optional components.

  Bulk solid materials are fed into the fluidised bed dryer via a feeder. Heated, filtered clean air is delivered by a blower to the bed base, where it contacts the solids through a distribution plate, creating fluidisation for efficient gas-solid heat and mass transfer. Dried material discharges through an outlet, while exhaust gas exits the top of the fluidised bed. Solid particulates are recovered via a cyclone separator assembly and bag filter before venting.

  Suitable for steam, electric, or hot-air furnace operation (configured per user requirements).

Working Principle:

Clean hot air is distributed through valve plates into the bed. Wet material entering via the feeder is fluidised by the hot air. Extensive contact between hot air and material enhances heat and mass transfer, enabling rapid drying. In continuous operation, material enters one end of the bed, undergoes fluidised drying for tens of seconds to several minutes, and automatically discharges from the opposite end. This equipment typically operates under negative pressure.

Installation Instructions:

• Ensure all equipment is positioned level and secured with base bolts. All components must be properly sealed.

• Fans may be placed outdoors or within a dedicated soundproof enclosure. Layout arrangements may be adjusted as appropriate for specific conditions.
